Homestead Ventures · Projects & Investments
Real businesses built on Homestead Ventures land — with equity stakes for the people who back them. Not charity. Not marketing. Ventures.
Homestead Ventures is actively raising capital to launch each of these ventures as a profitable business. Every property we develop can hold more than a home — it can hold a business that grows on the land, feeds a real market, and pays back the people who help build it.
Each venture below is a live round. The starting land is already ours. As revenue proves out, we lease or acquire neighboring properties to expand the pool.
Backers at every level are welcome. Not everyone can commit at founder-level — and that’s fine. Each project also offers Supporter tiers starting at $50, so you can back the launch, hold the first product, and see it come to life.
The Ventures · Region 01
Three ventures on the Tyrrhenian coast — oil, milk, and honey from the same reclaimed grove.
01
Ragusa Province · Sicily
Sicily’s living heritage, reborn profitable.
A registered sanctuary herd of Ragusano donkeys on our Sicilian land — conservation with a real business behind it. Rare-breed milk, a skincare line, and freeze-dried powder for global export. Equity tiers open to family, friends, and early partners.
02
Sicily · Grove to Door
Biodynamic Sicilian olive oil, single-origin from mature groves.
The trees are already there. We reclaim mature groves attached to stone casali, press the harvest under one biodynamic standard, and bottle it single-origin — one grove, one cultivar, one harvest date, no blending. Not commodity oil — a living product with the harvest date on every bottle.
03
Sicily · Bees in the Olive Groves
Raw honey, native Sicilian black bee, wax that feeds the cream and soap.
Hives in the same reclaimed groves that grow Linea Special. Native ape nera sicula where the genetics allow. Raw honey labeled by bloom and harvest date — zagara, thyme, millefiori. Wax flows into the donkey-milk cream and the olive-oil soap. Equity, not donation.
The Ventures · Region 02
Three ventures at Mount Chirripó — bloodline, protein, and black gold on the mountain.
04
Costa Rica · Pérez Zeledón to Chirripó
American Quarter Horses raised, bred, and worked in Canaan de Rivas.
Foundation stock from a Pérez Zeledón program moves up the mountain into Canaan de Rivas. Working horses for a working homestead — riding, land work, and stock that keeps its value. The manure feeds the worm beds. The animal pays twice. Equity, not donation.
05
Costa Rica · Chirripó Zone
Black Soldier Fly larvae — feed for hens and trout, frass for the worms.
Kitchen scraps and stall waste go in. Larvae come out as protein for hens and the local highland trout program. What’s left rolls into the worm beds as frass. Waste in, protein out, nothing thrown away twice. Equity, not donation.
06
Costa Rica · Chirripó Zone
Black gold — worm castings from prized Quarter Horse manure.
Horse manure goes into shaded beds. Black gold comes out — the material serious growers call the top of the soil food chain. Eisenia fetida red wigglers do the work. What the horse doesn’t keep, the worm turns into soil. Equity, not donation.
In the pipeline
A few more concepts already forming. Each one built on the same principle — the land supports the business, and the business rewards the people who back it early.
Small-batch aged cheese and dairy from the homestead herds — goat, sheep, and cow, produced on the land and finished by hand. Cellar-aged, seasonally released, sold alongside the oil line.
Cured meats, specialty produce, herbal products — the homestead can support several real product lines. As each one matures into a fundable concept, it gets its own page and its own equity tiers here.
How Ventures work
Every venture launches on Chris’s Sicilian property — already secured. Your capital doesn’t buy land on day one. It funds the herd, the mill, the brand, the launch.
As revenue proves out, we lease or acquire neighboring parcels — more trees, more land, same protocol. This is where the venture compounds and the equity grows.
A limited founding cohort per venture. Founders come in at seed terms and are named on the operation. Standard partners come in as the round fills. Equity, not donation.
