Both programs are built on the same idea — that the best way to know Sicily is to live in it, alongside the people who’ve been living it for generations. The difference is time, and who it’s for.
Sicilian Roots · Adult Immersion
Agritourism, harvest, food, culture — 5 or 7 days.
Small-group agritourism led personally by Christopher Linea. Pick olives in the hills, cold-press your own biodynamic oil, eat with Sicilian families, and see the ancient culture most tourists never touch.
Sicilian Roots · Academic Year
Gap year, semester, or full year at a Sicilian Liceo.
Enroll at the local Liceo Artistico in Santo Stefano di Camastra alongside Sicilian classmates. Ceramics, sculpture, language, history, and a full cultural immersion. Guided by Christopher Linea Jr., who lived this program himself at seventeen.
A father-and-son operation
Christopher Sr. runs the adult tours out of the family’s olive grove in the Nebrodi hills. Christopher Jr. runs the academic year — a program he lived himself at seventeen, at the same Liceo he now sends other students to.
Both immersions share the same idea — that Sicily is one of the most extraordinary living cultures in Europe, and that the only way to know it is to live inside it. The rest is a matter of how long you have — and who you are.
