Every build is a return — to the land, the seasons, the rhythms that stopped mattering when life moved indoors. We’re not just building homes. We’re stewarding places: protecting the soil, the trees, and the traditions that grew there. Preserving what centuries got right. Giving back to the land as much as it gives us. A lifestyle worth waking up to — grounded, connected, and quietly fulfilling.

A hobbit-style stone home carved into the Costa Rican hills.

Stone walls, timber beams, a living roof — and Camp Chirripó nearby. A small, characterful home that grows out of the landscape, built with the materials the land already gives you. Phase 1 starts at $14,500–16,500.

How we build

The land leads.

Two regions, one standard. Natural materials. Design that answers to the site. Building at a pace and scale that keeps the place recognizable when we’re done.

Materials from the ground.

Stone, timber, terracotta — sourced local wherever possible. The house should look like it grew there, not like it was flown in.

Design for climate.

Costa Rican homes breathe. Sicilian homes cool. Same principle applied differently. Thermal mass and airflow do the work that HVAC does elsewhere.

Built to outlast us.

Stone walls, real timber, honest joinery. The kind of build a family passes down — not a fifteen-year house on a foreclosure schedule.
